Von's lifedrawing work - both from the live model and from photos!

I don't believe any artist can get enough lifedrawing.  It makes you better, plain and simple.  Working from a live model also can present a number of challenges that are different than composing a comic book page.  I find that difference thrilling.  But it can also be frustrating.  My long held belief is that art, at its most basic, is about problem-solving.  How do I do this?  How do I do it in the time provided?  And on and on.  Lifedrawing always crystalizes this for me in a very unique way.

I also enjoy working from photos.  It provides the luxury of a two-dimensional image and a static model, but it forces you to try and interpret the photo in a different way than what the actual photographer shot.  That can be challenging. Especially if you put a time limit on yourself.
