Wolf’s Head Volume 10 in trade paperback format Worldwide (first-time ever)!
Now available in trade paperback around the world is WOLF’S HEAD Volume 10! This volume is really unique. Not only does it contain a “split book” (issue 19), but those two stories don’t feature Lauren Greene, our normal protagonist, at all. She comes back in all her glory in issue 20, but one of the things I love with serialized fiction is playing with expectations. Why isn’t she in issue 19? Well, the reason for that is the logic of the “split” itself. In other words, you’ll have to read it for everything to make sense, though I think it all comes together really nicely. Of course, you don’t have to take my word for it. You can always read these issues for free on the Internet Archive! And if you are brand new to the series, please visit the dedicated landing page that hopefully has all the information you might need!
As I previously noted, the first seven WOLF’S HEAD trade paperbacks are back in print in new editions, but with today’s release of Volume 10 (collecting issues 19 and 20 of the ongoing digital series) we continue to be on brand new ground! As always, this is a full colour edition and is 60 pages in length. Here is this volume’s pitch: With every passing day, ARPC pushes the young AI closer to becoming a weapon capable of threatening humanity. Defeated and nearly alone, Lauren Greene keeps watch on ARPC’s secure headquarters, waiting for an opportunity to save her friend. But time is running out, and Lauren must learn to trust the people around her before ARPC’s experiment becomes unstoppable.

As always, remember that I can’t control exactly when and where this volume will become available, but hopefully the above links are a good start. Be patient and don’t be afraid to ask your retailer for help! Volume 10 will be released later on this year.

The Elevator Pitch
Lauren Greene has returned to Detroit in defeat. Broke, homeless, and back behind the counter at the Three-Eyes Bar, she’s living the life she thought she’d left behind. Worse, the young artificial intelligence (AI) she risked everything to protect has been recaptured by ARPC’s ruthless Jeremy Hamilton and his enforcer, Richard Blairstone.
Hamilton wants answers. Blairstone wants obedience but, when the AI refuses to become the weapon they demand, the two men clash. As the pressure mounts to make the AI cooperate, Hamilton struggles with demons he thought he’d escaped… until an unexpected friendship offers a fragile lifeline.
With no resources and very few allies, Lauren can’t simply storm ARPC’s secure HQ. Instead she relies on patience, determination, and her faithful dog, Sankō. And, day after day, she watches the facility from the park across the street, waiting for Hamilton and Blairstone to make a mistake.
But time is running out and ARPC is pushing the AI to its limits, trying to strip away its identity and reshape it into the murderous weapon they’ve always wanted. If Lauren can’t rescue it in time, the AI may become a weapon beyond anyone’s control.
In this volume of WOLF’S HEAD, loyalty is tested, old demons resurface, and bonds between friends become the only thing standing between salvation and catastrophe.
The WOLF'S HEAD Trade Paperback Series
Below is a listing of all the volumes of the series so far! If you click on the cover, it will bring you to a dedicated page for that volume on the WOLF’S HEAD subdomain. Again, most online retailers regularly stock and carry WOLF'S HEAD. However, occassionaly there are hiccups with this from time to time (typically because the retailer has had a little rush on sales!). So, if you were shopping on Amazon (for example) and discovered that a particular volume is out of stock, there are many alternatives. These include Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, Indigo, McNally Robinson, The American Book Center, Waterstones, and so on.Read for Free
As many of you know, I’ve also begun serializing the comic book series for free on the Internet Archive (https://www.archive.org) as part of my “Pirate Von” initiative. As I mentioned above, WOLF’S HEAD Volume 10 consists of issues 19 and 20 of the ongoing series. While you can find the links to both on the Internet Archive as well as the “Pirate Von” section of this very website, to make it easier the links to both issues 19 and 20 are below.Remember! If you enjoy them and would like a physical copy, you can purchase Volume 10 in stores — both online and off — around the world!
